Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, Nigeria, has called for a review in the cost of governance in all tiers of Government.

He stated this in Ibadan, Oyo state while receiving the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Yerima Ngama who was in the State for the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting.

Governor Ajimobi said the high number of political office holders has led to exorbitant cost of governance.

He noted that when the cost of governance was reduced, there would be improvement in service delivery.

Earlier, the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Yerima Ngama noted that the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting was always held outside Abuja once a year, for peer reviews in the management of resources at State level.
