Shooting stars sports club of Ibadan yesterday defeated visiting Kano pillars by two goals to one in one of the Nigeria Premier league matches played this weekend.

Mutiu Adegoke scored for the Oluyole warriors through a penalty kick in the eighth minute of the encounter.

However, Nasiru Ali equalised for Kano pillars in the eighty first minute after a defensive blunder from Shooting stars players.

While in the ninety third minute of the game, Mutiu Adegoke scored the second goal through another penalty kick.
