The Chairman, Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, in Oyo State, Nigeria, Alhaji Abideen Oladimeji wants Nigerians to put partisan politics aside and work with the present administration to overcome the insecurity problem in the Country.

He gave the advice in Ibadan during an interview.

Alhaji Oladimeji emphasised that rather than considering the task of maintaining law and order as that of the Federal Government alone, all well meaning Nigerians should see it as their responsibility.

According to him,  by offering useful information to security agents, crimes could be prevented before being committed.

Alhaji Oladimeji, who expressed worry that terrorist attacks in some parts of the Country were almost getting out of hand, said if the ugly trend was not checked,  it could lead to economic recession.

The CPC chairman admonished elected office holders to have the fear of God by delivering on their various electioneering promises to the people to improve their standard of living.
