Deputy Senate President in Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu has called for collective efforts at ensuring the incidence of plane crashes in Nigeria is completely eradicated.

In a statement, Mr. Ekweremadu says the accident has thrown the nation into mourning and was most unfortunate.

He describes the incident as unfortunate and expressed shock over the plane crash, describing it as devastating.

The Deputy Senate President then called on all Nigerians to remain calm and pray for the peaceful repose of the souls of the dead.
