The Minister of Labour and productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu, has set up a panel to investigate alleged unfair labour practices in the beverages industries.

The panel was set up in response to the complaints on the issue by the Chairman of the Nigeria Economic summit group, Mr. Frank Nweke jnr, when he led executive members of the organization on a courtesy visit to the Minister, in Abuja.

Chief Wogu said the panel would look at the immediate and remote causes of the conflict and come up with solution.

In his response, Mr. Frank Nweke, who was a former Information Minister, said the visit was to afford the group the opportunity to discuss perspectives on Nigeria’s overall labour environment.
