Nigerian Media has been urged to show great sensitivity in their reportage on National issues.
The Country’s Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku ,who represented President Goodluck Jonathan stated this at the book launch tagged “The President Explains” in Abuja, the Country’s capital.
He affirmed that Nigerians will continue to enjoy Freedom of Information for the sustainability of democracy in the Country.
Earlier, the Director General of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, and Barrister Yusuf Nuhu explained that the book expresses the rich culture of Government policies and re-orienting the views of Government.
In a remark, the Book Reviewer, Professor Peter Okebukola said that the fifteen chapter book has aesthetic value and commended FRCN for a job well done.
Dignitaries present at the occasion were the Olowu of Owu, Oba Adegboyega Dosumu, who represented Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and some Governors including the Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda, among others.
