DG FRCN plans to establish a National Station in Yenagoa

The Niger Delta Youth Forum has appealed to aggrieved groups across the country, especially Boko Haram, to embrace peace and dialogue for proper development to take place.
The Leader of the Forum, Comrade Daniel Ezekiel made the appeal during a courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.
According to Comrade Ezekiel, the Nation needs a peaceful environment where dialogue would be used to pursue a national agenda that could transform Nigeria.
The Youth Leader called on the Federal government to reconsider its deregulation programme on the downstream sector of the oil industry.
He further solicited the support of Radio Nigeria in the area of publicity in the course of their peace initiative programmes.
Responding, the Director-General of FRCN, Mallam Yusuf Nuhu assured the Youth Forum of the Corporation’s support towards publicizing their programmes.
The Director-General also informed them of the plan to establish a National Station in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State to serve the six States in the South-South.
