Stephen Keshi has been confirmed as Super Eagles Coach by the Nigeria Football Federation.
Keshi, 49, has been the front-runner for the job ever since the federation started looking for a replacement after firing former coach Samson Siasia.
Siasia was given the boot when he failed to earn Nigeria a spot in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, a decision he is reportedly set to fight in court.
According to very recent reports, Siasia has filed a lawsuit against the NFF for a breach of contract.
However, the NFF has some faith in Keshi. The former captain had been with the Nigeria national team when they won the 1994 Afcon title.
He had also worked as the Assistant Coach in 2002 for the team, under the management of Shaibu Amodu.
