Nigeria’s table tennis contingent to London 2012 Olympics will today leave the Queens Country after crashing out of the summer games.

The last of the Ping pongers, Aruna Quadri lost to Hang Bora of turkey by two points to four joined his compatriots Segun Toriola, Funke Oshonaike and Ofion Edem who had earlier lost out in their various engagements.

Meanwhile, South Africa is the only African country on the medals table of the ongoing London 2012 Olympics and is in the thirteenth position with one gold in the swimming event.

China is leading on the table with twelve medals comprising  six gold, four silver and two bronze medals, United States of America, USA, is second with Eleven medals, three gold, five silver and three bronze medals, while Italy occupies the third position having seven medals , two gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
