President of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG in Nigeria, Mr. Igwe Achese has urged the Federal Government to rehabilitate four existing refineries to improve the Country’s economy.

Mr. Achese who made the call in Lagos State at an interactive forum with oil and gas workers said that rehabilitation of the refineries would bring succor to suffering Nigerians.

He said it was regrettable that the refineries were not working and that petroleum products were being diverted in the open market for sale.
